I'll write a post every 3 months which'll contain the thoughts I had right after watching an anime. As such it should be taken as mere thoughts that I had directly after watching it. It's NOT a review, more of a final impression if you will.
Anyway It'll contain whatever I watched during those 3 months with little if any regard to release season or current trends.
You can find my complete list of anime I've watched and their ratings on kitsu.io/users/APasz/library
So without further ado.

ヘヴィーオブジェクト「Heavy Object」
It's mecha but not your standard run of the mill type. I had lots of fun watching it. The gfx and sound are pretty good although there's definitely some room for improvement.
The soundtrack is brilliant though so if you're at all interested in soundtracks that really do convey what's happening on screen, I highly recommend having a look at (or should I say listen to) it.
There is fan service but it is quite subdued with the typical cast of characters [the low-key masochist/sadist pair and the blind/quiet pair].
Don't know why but I kept thinking of Ars Nova and Total Eclipse all the way through; If anyone has got thoughts on that, I'd love to hear them.
I'd love to see a second season.
ヨルムンガンド「Jormungand」
I was weary going into this one but several people have suggested I watch it and I can most definitely see why they said I should it.
The sound, attention to detail and consistency are all superb for a tv series.
The tow main protagonists of the story (Jonah and Koko) are -imho overused character type pair- interesting and just generally fun to watch. There's a reason why this character type pair is used as often as they are; its a type pair that either works really well and brings everything together or is quite horrid and everything else just hits the fan.
I wanna touch on the aesthetic for just a moment, it's quite gritty and "realistic" however it's more realistic then most other anime. It's the little details like bullets hitting concrete not creating sparks, having to press explosive detonators multiple times, etc. It's the little details that bring everything together. *glances over at GitS* That said it does have a bit of sparkly stuff but it isn't overused at all.
The music is also something that deserves some praise. It really encapsulates the overall feel of the series and isn't overused. There are points where it can be a tad jarring.
ヨルムンガンド PERFECT ORDER「Jormungand Season 2: Perfect Order」
Please refer above for overall thoughts on the series, S2 specific thoughts here.
It follows on from the previous season but does feel a bit jarring with the sorta sudden slow down in the initial pacing but it picks back up fairly quick. We also find out the reason for the name, Jormungand and those who are somewhat familiar with Norse mythology will probably figure out what the 'thing' is and how it could be enacted in the modern before anyone else.
There is some nonsense fan service near the end but it's only 2 scenes.
The one thing I quite enjoy about this anime was the dynamic between Koko and Kasper; Classic Optimist and Cynic. Both are quite deep characters on their own but the addition of Jonah really does put something interesting on the table, can't put my finger on what exactly but whatever it is, I like it. I'm sure it'll hit me in a few days time.
One more thing, while Kasper may be a tame dragon, I think what makes Koko so very fascinating (to me at least) is that fact that she is the most dangerous kind of dragon.
プリンセス・プリンシパル「Princess Principal」
Did someone say steampunk style 19th century London with spies?
I'm quite impressed with this one. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it turned out to be.
Animation, sound, and story are all pretty good with a few quirks here and there.
The ending is nothing to complain about, it isn't the best but I feel it's good enough to satisfy if season two doesn't end up happening.
The soundtrack is fitting but not amazing.
All in all, I'd say it's well worth the watch if you enjoy steampunk/England-setting type of anime.
